I am standing up in Harley’s wedding in a few months and as such I need to get him my suit size. He texted Jess yesterday to have her remind me because he didn’t trust me to remember.

I had my yearly physical exam last week and the doctor called Jessie’s phone before the appointment to remind me about it (we go to the same doctor).
When I got to the appointment I gave the nurse my number thinking they just didn’t have mine for some reason. But I got a follow up call yesterday telling me my blood work looked good and they called Jessie’s phone again.

It has been a tough week for the Badger football team. After a loss in the Rose Bowl and the news that the Badgers would lose four coaches next year things were not looking so good for next year.
But yesterday the team got some good news, star running back Montee Ball will return for his senior season.

Let The Games Begin
The annual Christmas marathon is about to begin. As such, I won’t be able to post much over the next week or so. Sorry, but remember you can always call the Hall and Oates hotline.

I accidentally drove into a parade today. There were police, flares, and the whole sha-bang. So not to hold up the parade and lack of a better option I rolled with it for a block or two. I donned a pair of neon green Ray-Bans and waved at anyone who stopped to watch. I later learned it was a funeral procession.

The Cubs signed Dale Sveum as their new manager yesterday. He was the Milwaukee Brewers’ hitting coach, served as interim manager back in 2008 and was a third base coach and the Brewers’ bench coach as well - so Rouse probably knows a lot more about him that I do.
I am happy to have the manager job locked down and kind of excited he is a guy who has played and coached in the NL...
