Putting Stuff In Your Pocket
Whenever Jessie comes home from school, she is a first grade teacher, she empties all the crap that has ended up in her pockets throughout the course of the day. Erasers, crayons, hair pins, wrappers, etc. all make it into her pockets and then get dealt with at the end of the day.
But it also means that out of habit, whenever she picks something up and doesn’t know where it should go right...

Because of the NATO summit, and protests, we were given the option to work from home. I decided to chance it and come in.
Office hours are from 8:30 - 5, it is almost 9 and there are less than 10 people here.

Parking Ticket
The parking meters in Chicago expire at 9 PM and are monitored every day of the week. Jessie and I were over at a friend’s house for dinner on Saturday night and had to pay for street parking. My meter expired at 8:47 and I decided that I was going to try to go outside around 8:40 to put another few quarters in so I would be covered. 9:30 rolled around and I realized that I forgot to go...

Brewers Mission 162 →
My good friend Ben quit his job a few weeks ago and is going to follow the Brewers to every game they play this season. 162 games in 181 days. He is also Leukemia survivor and will be promoting the Be The Match Registry along the way.
I am excited that I will be able to attend a few of the games with him this year too. When the Crew play the White Sox at the end of June I will even root for them.

The Office Sucks Now
NBC’s The Office has been one of my favorite TV shows for the past five or so years. I am one of those guys who has watched it since the beginning, seen all the episodes and own most of the seasons on DVD.
