Listen, I’m Getting Beeped…
Whenever I talk to my mom on the phone there is a 50/50 shot that the conversation will end with the phrase ‘listen, I’m getting beeped’ (someone else is calling her phone). Once this phrase is said, it means the conversation is over and she is going to hang up to take the other call.
I can’t figure out how she is so popular, so I have concluded she just says this to everyone when she doesn’t want to talk anymore.
